BRAD LAWSON, Managing Partner

An accomplished executive in sales and strategy leadership in the population health management industry, Brad’s health management experience started in 2002 with WellMed/WebMD Health Services.  Over an eight year period with WebMD Health Services Brad served in several leadership positions, most notably as the Senior Vice President of Employer Sales.  In this role Brad led three teams focused on new customer acquisition and strategic consulting services to existing large employer clients.   During his time with WebMD Health Services the division grew from less than $5 million in annual revenue to greater than $90 million and WebMD Corp executed their 2005 IPO.

Since leaving WebMD in 2010, Brad has served as an executive for clinical tele-medicine provider Specialists on Call; as an executive and investor for tele-monitoring company VRI; and as Senior Vice President of Sales for care management company StayWell Health Management.

Prior to WebMD Brad’s early professional achievements include being a top producer in individual contributor sales roles in the enterprise software industry before launching his sales management career as a District Sales Manager with enterprise analytics vendor SAS. At SAS, Brad led the turnaround of a failing sales district, helping it to achieve SAS’s President Club for the first time and garnering a 2001 profile in Selling Power Magazine.

Today, Brad serves on the advisory board of digital checkup provider Conversa Health and is the Founder and Managing Partner of Xtend Advisors, a sales management consulting firm focused on emerging companies in the population health management industry.

Brad has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Cincinnati, a master’s degree from the University of Dayton and has completed executive education in Healthcare Outcomes Research at the Harvard School of Public Health.


 

SANDRA WOOD, Partner

With more than 25 years of sales experience in the health care and employee benefits industry, Sandra most recently was responsible for business development of population health management and benefit decision support solutions at WebMD Health Services. Her work at WebMD focused on serving the employer market through direct and third party distribution channels. A skilled relationship builder and critical thinker, Sandra was selected to grow WebMD’s channel program. She directed the sales effort and overall strategy of several strategic partnerships including Mercer, ADP, and Fidelity that resulted in $12M in annual revenue.

Before joining WebMD, Sandra developed large account business for workplace effectiveness services at Ceridian. While there, she was the leading revenue producer for six years and was recognized in the President’s Club nine of 12 years.

She began her sales career at Erisco, a Dun & Bradstreet Company providing health care systems and data to the Fortune 500. Responsible for direct sales in the metropolitan New York area, she opened new sales territory in Canada and achieved the highest quota to revenue record in company history.

Sandra co-founded MedAppraise, a provider of risk assessment, data mining and forecasting services of musculoskeletal conditions for insurance and health care entities and currently serves as co-founder and Partner of Xtend Advisors.
